Mrs. Patricia Summers was born in Biloxi, Mississippi. She has been teaching for eight years, and has been working at TBCA for about eight years. She has an AA from HCC and a BA from USF. She majored in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication with a minor in Cultural and Public Communication. Mrs. Summers enjoys shopping at Teavana, going to tearooms with friends, and visiting siblings in Atlanta. She dislikes rude drivers, confusion, and brussel sprouts. Her favorite Scripture verses are Micah 6:8 and Jeremiah 9:23-24. An interesting fact about Mrs. Summers is that she is an Air Force "brat" (she travelled internationally) and went to elementary school in Tripoli, Libya (Kindergarten-1st Grade).

Mrs. Summers's personal testimony is below in her own words:

"I had always believed in God because our family prayed and went to church. I was raised in Catholicism  and was fine with that until I met a friend named Joyce. Through her friendship I began to see that I could have a personal, vibrant relationship with God. Joyce's love for and intimacy with the Father caused me to seek that kind of relationship with Him. I "met" Him in January of 1980 in a very beautiful, moving encounter. We've been having a Sacred romance since then. God is great!"
